Bike Wilmington is an advocacy group for biking in Wilmington Delaware. The group meets to promote bike initiatives but also holds fun bike "cruises" that are slow and suitable for any skill level or age group. Started by the Mayor of Wilmington, Bike Wilmington also provides critical feedback to the City's Public Works Department regarding bike infrastructure (bike signage, sharrows, parking etc.). Suburban Cyclists Unlimited is a group of active recreational cyclists who tour the roads and trails of Montgomery, Bucks and Chester Counties and the surrounding suburbs of Philadelphia. Weekend rides are offered throughout the year. Regular weeknight rides are offered from April through September. We organize intermediate rides for both road and mountain cyclists. We sometimes organize kayak tours, hikes, and post-activity pub meet-ups. More social than athletic. This group was originally solely for snowboarders. But we don't want the fun to end when the snow melts! So, we ride our bikes on warmer weather (and among other things). We are laid back folks who just enjoy riding - be it on snow, road or trails.
