A diverse group of cyclists looking for off-road. New cyclists are welcome, we'll happily share trails & advice. Everyone is free to post an event.

We can also chill after rides for food and drinks. See ya'll on the trail!

There are quite a few 'peak lists' in California and we like to climb them. Some are easy and good trails lead to the top. Others are long, difficult cross-country routes and may require some roped sections. Please evaluate the proposed hike/climb to be within your capabilities. As many/most of these hikes will be new to all attending, everyone should have studied the route, copied topo maps, have your GPS loaded with waypoints, and be prepared to 'help' with route finding on the difficult one …

The terms Renaissance man is used to describe a man (or woman, as "Renaissance woman") who is well educated or who excels in a wide variety of subjects or fields. The idea developed in Renaissance Italy from the notion expressed by one of its most accomplished representatives, Leon Battista Alberti (1404–72): that “a man can do all things if he will.” It embodied the basic tenets of Renaissance Humanism which considered man empowered, limitless in his capacities for development, and led to the n …

There are many bike groups in Orange County that offer a wide range of group rides but I was unable to find a group that offers rides on weekdays. I started this group to find out if there are others in the area that are looking for a casual bike ride on weekdays. This is a non-competitive cycling group for ages 35+. We ask that a recognizable picture of each member be posted on your meetup profile so we can identify you when we meet. To start, many of our rides will be along the Santa Ana Riv …

Hello, I am a cyclist looking to make a group of casual bike riders for a daily morning ride in the Eagle Rock / Pasadena area. I am not a hard core rider so rides of 10-20 miles tops is the goal, anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week. The rides will be of a moderate level of difficulty not exceeding 2 hours and more likely only an hour. The goal of every ride should be a cup of coffee at some point. All kidding aside please get in touch with me if you need some riding friends.

Welcome to Out-Spoke-n, a new bike shop specializing in road, mountain and comfort cycling. If you’re like us - folks who ride for many reasons - you’ll feel right at home here. Our two-wheeled doctrine: Walking into a bike shop should be a pleasant, helpful, informative experience. It should never make you feel inadequate, no matter what your riding style or skill level may be. As cyclists, we’ve run into high walls of attitude and haughtiness that shroud a lot of bike shops. We’ve encountered …
